I got this custom made to fit my measurements but not sure if I gave incorrect measurements or they didn't cut it right as the shoulder straps just keep falling off. Everywhere has been cut to size so am happy about that. Will now need to go to dress maker to see if they can fix the top half of dress. I love the style of the dress just disappointed it doesn't fit perfectly....

I purchased this for my father's wedding last month. I was the MOH, but was able to choose my own dress and picked this one as it resembled in style my new step-mum's wedding gown. One would think it wouldn't be too difficult a task, but I was unable to find anything worthy of a special occasion. dresseshop was recommended to me by a work mate who had a friend purchase their wedding and brides maids gowns. The same friend also purchased a special occasion dress for their brother's wedding here as well. Knowing actual people who have had a good buying experience made me more confident. However, I did read lots of reviews on the site as well as off site independent reviews, overall the reviews were very positive boosting my confidence even more. I received the dress, safely folded in plastic in a sealed box, about 3 weeks or so later. I'm in Australia and I did not have to pay anything extra on delivery. This excellent value for money dress was stylish and elegant. The tailoring was high quality and the fabric texture and quality surprisingly good for the price. I was particularly impressed with the speed of the service. This particular product didn't have any tailoring time, because it was off the peg, so of course we had to make our own alterations....

This dress is soooo beautiful. Honestly it looks even better in real life than on the screen: the material is just such a rich hue. Yes, it looks shiny and nice on the screen, but in real life, standing at different angles and in different lights just makes it shift like there's either shadows or light hiding beneath the surface or something. There's a tiny train that i hadn't noticed at first, but even that was a pleasant surprise!...
